Suzerain Insulators, established in 1997, is Asia's first company to develop and introduce Electrical Grade Insulating Crepe Kraft Paper having excellent Electrical and Mechanical properties for Transformer, Cable and Conductor Industries. The special pattern insulation crepe kraft paper is made from base kraft paper of very high quality with high porosity, made by reputed mills of India, Europe and Japan.

This EGI Crepe Kraft Paper is tested by ERDA (Electrical Research and Development Association, Vadodara) as per IEC specifications. The Electrical and Mechanical properties of the EGI Crepe Kraft Paper are equivalent to the internationally available EGI Crepe Kraft Paper.

The company has a Fully Automatic plant in Maharashtra, India having a capacity to produce 1200 tons of crepe paper per annum. The quality of the crepe paper manufactured at this plant is automatically monitored online. The surrounding environment around the plant is also well maintained to take care of the critical electrical insulation properties required by the crepe paper. Moreover, the crepe paper is manufactured using purified water produced on-site, the most critical component in the manufacture of paper. This ensures excellent quality all the time.

This crepe paper is exported to various countries worldwide on regular basis.

Apart from EGI Crepe Kraft Paper, Suzerain Insulators also manufactures EGI Flexible Crepe Paper Tubes, Semi-Conducting Black Crepe Kraft Paper, Aluminum Foil laminated Kraft / Crepe Paper (Foil Crepe), Perforated Aluminum Foils, Aluminum Banded Kraft Papers, Tin Plated Corrosion Free Copper Foils, Thermally Upgraded Crepe Kraft Paper in Jumbo Rolls or Slitted Pads and also Thermally Upgraded Flexible Crepe Paper Tubes, Filament (Rayon / Glass Fiber) Reinforced Kraft Paper Tapes, Bituminized Kraft / Crepe Paper for Power Cables, BOPP Films, Polyester Films, etc.

The company also maintains a stock of Capacitor Papers, Capacitor Films, Aluminum Foil of various thicknesses for own use as well as supply to clients. Suzerain Insulators also has a non-electrical division manufacturing Adhesive Kraft Paper Tapes for Corrugated Boxes, Moisturizing Kraft Paper Tapes as a replacement to Stapling Corrugated Boxes, etc.
